USCIS Waives COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement for Adjustment of Status Applicants

Effective January 22, 2025, USCIS is waiving all requirements for applicants seeking adjustment of status (green cards) to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination on Form I-693 (Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record).

• No Request for Evidence (RFE) or Notice of Intent to Deny (NOID) will be issued solely for lack of COVID-19 vaccination documentation.
• No adjustment of status application will be denied based on missing COVID-19 vaccination proof.
